In the recording studio, Leo Nocentilli has identifiably proven that his original innovations
in mastering his sound has gained the respect and demand that has led him to
become a "featured" guitarist. In addition to recording with a distringuished list
of his peers, Leo has recorded with a list of Grammy Award Winners such as,
Stevie Wonder, Bonnie Raitt, The Winans, The Supremes, The
Temptations, Paul McCartney, Dr. John, Sting, Bruce Hornsby, Nancy
Wilson, Peter Gabriel, Robert Palmer, George Duke, The Dells, Jack
Bruce, Manhattan Transfer, Bobby Womack, Al McKay (Earth, Wind
& Fire), and Robbie Robertson. The list continues with Academy Award
winner Robert Mitchum. Other Artists Leo has recorded with include,
Mavis Staple, Etta James, Maceo Parker, Professor Longhair, Willie
T, James Black, Lee Dorsey, James Booker and Jesse Roden
Behind the scenes or out in front, Leo Nocentelli self-styled, sedate manner,
has always held a reigning position that has managed to allure a need, not only
for his stimulating funk musical style, but visually as well. He has appeared
Saturday Night Live, An Evening at the Improv and a Showtime
special, as well as videos for Joe Cocker and Ashoford & Simpson. Leo
combines visual and soundtrack performances in "No Man's Land", starring
Charlie Sheen. Other soundtrack performances include Warner Brothers
film, "Heartbreakers", Ron Shelton's films, "Blaze" starring Paul Newman,
and "White Men Can't Jump", starring Wesley Snipes and Woody
Harrelson, and again in the The Neville Brothers on the soundtrack for the
film, "Fire In the Sky" only to be highlighted by the multi-platinum, award
winning singer, actress (and Guiness Book Record holder Diva), Whitney
Houston. Recently, Leo was contracted as a featured artist for the soon to be
released "A Tribute to Lowell George"
